You will need to do the clearinghouse and the amateurism questionnaire. Even if you plan to go to a JC you should attempt to establish yourself as a qualifier. You should get this by Sophomore year but no later than Junior Year.

There are a lot of companies that tell kids they can get them a scholarship. Our sources advise that these are a waste of money. Our sources can guarantee you that coaches rarely read the things that they develop. Coaches want the basics. Stats, swim times (50, 100 repeats on interval) and any national team, All American etc. info. The fact that you were MVP on a bad team means nothing. Coaches always want video of the whole game with the cap number and color.

Please keep in mind that not all schools offer scholarships. Grades are very important. If intending to play NCAA, scholarships or not, Division I schools (women 8 max, men 4.5 max) & Division II (women 8 max, men 4.5 max) offer scholarships, but not Division III.
